We have recently installed 162 photovoltaic panels, providing 65 KwH of electricity

Assuming first year power generation of 50,000 KwH will help us avoid creating 28,000 kgs of Co2 per year. This will result in electricity savings of £6,000 per annum and is forecasted to generate an IRR of 13.2%

Working on the assumption that a single tree absorbs 21 kgs of Co2 per year, this is the equivalent in CO2 offsetting rate of planting 1,333 trees every year

In 2023 we aim to retrofit a Tesla Powerwall with three batteries providing 40.5 kWh of capacity.  This will cover most of the electrical power and means the building should be carbon neutral in the summer months.
